"God has given gifts to each of you from His great variety of spiritual gifts. Manage them well so that God's generosity can flow through you." 1 Peter 4:10
We've made a commitment to begin this journey with Jesus and have answered the call to partner with Him to bring others to their salvation through their belief and trust in Him. We're ready to go forth but unsure of how the Lord will use us to carry out the mission.
This takes me to the subject of spiritual gifts. In order to be most effective, we need to realize what gifts He has placed within to carry out what He would have us do. Peter puts it this way, "Are you called to be a speaker? Then speak as though God Himself were speaking through you. Are you called to help others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies." (1 Peter 4:11)
Find what you have a gift for, then use it to God's glory. It's very simple.
And here's the really awesome thing about the gifts God has given us...as we grow and mature as Christians through life, we come to realize new gifts He has placed within us to even further carry out His call to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28). The bottom line is that you should never rule out what the Lord can do through and by you when you partner with Him using the gifts He has blessed you with.
Additionally, when you enter this partnership and begin making a difference, "then God will be given glory in everything through Jesus Christ." (1 Peter 4:11) I can't think of anything else more fulfilling than helping another, using the gifts the Lord has blessed you with, to bring Him the glory. Can you?
